Aditi Surie von Czechowski

My work is concerned with the question of humanness, and the relationship between time, labour, productivity, and usefulness. I work in multiple media, but my main focus is on ceramics, specifically porcelain. I am deeply interested in the material history of porcelain both as a substance and as a commodity, and am obsessed with how to push the material as far as possible.

Research and writing are an inseparable part of my practice.
